David Hughes

David Hughes co-hosted Network Ten’s Before the Game until 2013. He studied Bachelor of Commerce at Swinburne University for six weeks but dropped out to pursue his career in comedy. His first gig was at age 22 and became a headline act after 6 months. He is a regular performer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Some of his shows have been released on CD and DVD respectively. His DVD Dave Hughes Live won an Aria Award for the best comedy release. Hughes was also the co-host of The Glass House, comedy talk show in ABC. He appeared on various television and radio programs as a guest, co-host, commercial advertiser. Hughes also entered the acting field and played in an episode of Neighbours and Scumbus. Though poker-faced comedian, David Hughes is also known for being naughty but kind-hearted person.
