Peter Grose

With a background of several years as a professional Australian Comedian, Peter Grose has been doing standup routines since 1986. He comes well-qualified, armed with a degree in acting from the  Q.U.T.  Drama  College.  Being  a  resourceful  and  ambitious  person,  Peter  Grose  opened  his very  own  comedy-themed  restaurant,  the Crazy  Comedies  Restaurant.  The  restaurant  was  an instant hit and won the Entertainment Restaurant of the Year  Award. Good publicity also came in the form of a review by the journal American Newspaper To-day which lauded the restaurant by saying, “Crazies is the place to go when visiting Australia”.

As a result of all the positive publicity through his restaurant and his own talents as a comedian, Peter  Grose  became  an  established  headliner  at  all  the well-known  events  and  comedy  venues throughout Australia. Peter also gained international popularity, and performed at the Improv in New  York  and  Los  Angeles.  Among  his  other  international  gigs  are  his  appearances  at  the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.

Peter Grose has a distinct style of performing. Dressed in an unassuming way, he looks like just another regular guy, until he starts to speak, and then you know that you are watching a really , really  talented  person  perform.  His  candid  observations about the  lighter  side  of  life  in  general keep  the  audience  well-supplied  with  laughs,  throughout  the  performance.  Being  a  talented singer and musician as well, helps him to further add value to his acts. Peter he often steps onto the stage and strums his guitar to funny songs that he composes himself.

Back  home,  Peter  Grose  also  participated  in  the  Melbourne  Comedy  Festival  and  the  Adelaide Fringe Festival as well as the Woodford Folk Festival.Peter  Grose  is  also  a  regular  visitor  on  cruise  ships,  and  has  tie-ups  with  P&O  Lines,  and  has performed on ships like the Pacific Dawn, Pacific Sun, The Pearl, and Pacific Jewel.

Being a musician and singer as well, adds to the flavor of Peter’s performances. He has a strong presence on television as well. Some of the notable TV shows that Peter has appeared on are Hey Hey it’s Saturday “and The John Farnham 30th Anniversary show.

Peter  Grose  is  also  a  popular  MC  and  guest  performer  for  corporate  events  and  parties,  and  is highly  recommended  for  his  smooth  talking  and  quick  wit,  which keeps  his  audiences  engaged and entertained throughout the event.

If  you are going to a show featuring Peter Grose, then  you can  look forward to a good laughter experience, although you may need to have an open mind, as some of his jokes tend to get a bit profane. But an evening with Peter Grose is definitely an evening to remember.
