Adam Vincent

It’s an absolute joy to watch Adam Vincent as he unleashes his uncanny wit to have the audience in stitches. This naughty looking Australian born dude now resides in the UK and is a regular fixture at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has been lighting up the Aussie comedy stage with his extraordinary wit since 1996. Starting off from his hometown Adelaide by competing in the national final of Raw Comedy, he soon decided to move to Melbourne to grow as a comedian. He moved to the UK at the peak of his career and honed his talents in front of international crowds. Adam says he has performed at “every shit hole in UK and Australia” and has also made his mark as an MC.

Adam Vincent is a daredevil who will go to any limits to make his audience roar with laughter. However, he’s always likeable and never offensive. He’s a sharp-witted writer and writes his own comedy, apart from writing live show scripts for comedy festivals. He’s audacious enough to invite the audience to throw tomatoes at him and hilarious enough to bring them to sidesplitting laughter. Adam Vincent keeps visiting Australia to participate in comedy festivals or perform at comedy events. Contact us now to hire him or learn about his schedule.

COMEDY STYLE

A master of improvisation, Vincent would not hesitate to break a few rules to get some explosive material for his shows. He says on his website he’s been peeping into people’s homes in London hoping to catch a glimpse of some naked skin or two people making love, “an old man’s ball sack”, just anything that could give him some inspiration. A performing artist down to his core, he’s an unforgiving critic of his own performance and keeps aiming for perfection. As a result, his stage performances are crisp, smart and always hilarious. Adam is a truly talented and professional comic who knows how to tickle your funny bone.

Beware; Adam Vincent can often venture into the blue and black genres and his comedy is hardly suitable for kids or sensitive audience. His delivery is thoughtful and measured, and he can drop a bombshell of a punch line with a casual ease. He is versatile and can mimic stereotypes and adopt different personas effortlessly. His grey suit and tie and his serious face don’t tell his audience much about what he’s going to pull out, until they start falling off their chairs in fits of laughter. You can expect references to sex, masturbation, and sometimes even perverse behavior, but Adam is smart enough to keep everything on the side of good taste.
