Oliver Phommavanh

Name pronunciation doesn’t change a thing for this comic!  Oliver is a fantastic comedian, and very able to get the crowd involved in rip-roaring fun!  The rumor is he has been involved in writing funny children’s stories and in multiple stand up circles for entertaining those in the adult world.  The truth of matter is, from becoming a published children’s author to now making people laugh, his comic acts are enthralling to those of all ages.

If you’re looking for an up and rising star who is more down to earth, friendly and wholeheartedly passionate about stand up comedy, Oliver is your man!  He has supported other UK comics and happens to be a likeable regular at some of Sydney’s more premier clubs.  Some of those, which he has performed at, are those such as: The Laugh Garage, Sydney’s Comedy Store and The Happy Endings Comedy Club.

Oliver has also had several appearances in night comedy clubs that have done very well.  He has also had a debut appearance for Stand Up Australia with The Comedy Channel.  Oliver does use a standard joke formula but he takes it above and beyond to leave the audience in vicarious laughter, and also in a story telling like atmosphere.    Your group is sure to have a smashing time with a stand up comedian like this, but you won’t really know until you see him live!
