Ray Badran

Following a number of failed attempts of “Average Joe” jobs, Ray decided to try his hand at comedy, since it has always been a passion of his. He did find his own niche within this entertainment category and has become a rising stand-up comedian across Australia.  He has also travelled across the United States too, and has entered into numerous comedian competitions, always reaching the finalist category in all of these.  While Ray is a fresher, younger comic—first found at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, he was already known as “The Australian Strawberry Eating Champion!”

Ray is superb and naturally classified as one of the best newest emerging faces in the comedy world.  He could also become the next flavor of the week, or rather, the new shiny toy among other Australian comedians too!  In other words, the comedy world has their eye on this guy!  Being a regular performer at some of Australia’s more premier comedy clubs, he might very well be on the road to becoming a featured comedian that can and will rock fans out of their seats!

Ray absolutely is devoted to raw comedy acts, meaning he makes it his goal to stay true to his roots and remain as original as possible.  His acts are certainly loved by many, with followers more than interested in sharing how talented he is with others!  It is that word of mouth that gets comedians the notice and fame they are after, and Ray is certainly getting his fair share of that publicity now.  You simply must see him perform to really appreciate how talented he really is.  There is nothing rigged about this original and humble comedian!
